My passion for all things fashionable inspired me to create my own fashion blog to determine how to get a blog to become successful and gain a key audience on a blog that is out there in a world that is full of other fashion blogs and posts. Through the creation of my fashion blog, Forever Fashionable: How to be a key player in the DIY fashion world, I was able to pair my passion for writing with my love of fashion and share my tips and insights on the latest trends, how to get the look for less, and my look of the day with the blog’s audience. I utilized social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter to publicize my posts after they were published and updating my Facebook status and sending a tweet with a link to the blog post allowed me to gain more of an audience on the blog. Since the creation of Forever Fashionable, I have graduated from Rutgers, grown up a little bit more and evolved my fashion wardrobe while still remaining true to my roots and love of vintage clothing. While I’ll always admire beautiful designer clothing, I’ll never give up the hunt for the best bargains, sale racks and thrift store finds.
My fashion evolution led to a blog evolution as well and in the spring of 2017, Stylishly Yours was born. It is still a work in progress and while it remains my baby, life and working seven days a week have gotten in the way of my ability to give the blog my full and undivided attention. Regardless I am proud of its creation and look forward to growing it.
